We will then use individual tattoo strokes in the area to plot draw crisp, natural-looking hair strokes. We will provide you with topical anesthetic to minimize your discomfort during this process. After about 6 weeks, you will return to our office for a second appointment to touch-up your treatment and ensure the longevity of the colors used. This second appointment ensures that the micropigments used are healing properly and responding well.
As microblading is a tattoo, it will fade over time depending on the pigment used, the environment, and the skincare products you use. Your eyebrows will appear darker than expected immediately following treatment, but will fade up to 50% in the 2-week healing process that following your microblading treatment.
