Dr. Jennifer Walden is a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is formally fellowship-trained in Cosmetic Surgery. She relocated her busy cosmetic surgery practice from New York City to Austin, Texas so that her twin boys, Houston and Rex, can be raised near their family.
Dr. Walden is an active member of the prestigious American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery; she is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Walden currently serves on the Board of Directors for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and is the Commissioner of Communications for ASAPS as well. In the position as Commissioner, she oversees the communications for this globally authoritative professional organization. She also holds the distinction of serving as a media spokesperson for the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery as well having had for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
Since 2014, she has been recognized as one of Texas Super Doctors, as seen in Texas Monthly and since 2016 Dr. Walden has been one of Castle Connelly’s Top Doctors. In 2016, Dr. Walden was honored to be selected for membership into the American Association of Plastic Surgeons, an invitation-only, all-star academic society described as “the highest medium of recognition in the field of plastic surgery as evidenced by contribution of its individual members”.
While in New York, Dr. Walden was an Attending Surgeon in Plastic Surgery at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (MEETH) and Lenox Hill Hospital as well as being the Aesthetic Surgery Program Director at MEETH. She also had the academic appointment of Clinical Instructor of Surgery (Plastic Surgery) at The Hansjörg Wyss Department of Plastic Surgery at New York University Langone Medical Center (NYU). She now holds an academic appointment with The University of Texas Southwestern (UTSW) as Clinical Assistant Professor in Plastic Surgery. The UT Southwestern Department of Plastic Surgery is a world leader in patient care, research, innovations, and plastic surgery education.
Dr. Walden owns her own business of Walden Cosmetic Surgery & Laser Center, and operates in her own fully accredited office operating suite at Westlake Medical Center, where she and her team are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of patient safety. She also has privileges at the Hospital at Westlake Medical Center, Seton Hospital, and Hill Country Memorial Hospital in Marble Falls, where she often has a satellite cosmetic surgery clinic. As one of a very small number of board-certified female plastic surgeons in Texas formally fellowship-trained in cosmetic surgery, Dr. Walden is an advocate for women’s health, empowerment, and autonomy throughout all aspects of life. She is glad to have returned to her native Texan roots, bringing her Manhattan aesthetic surgery practice to Austin to provide care with a feminine touch. Dr. Walden was honored to recently have been selected by Harper’s Bazaar magazine as one of the nation’s 24 Best Beauty Surgeons in the United States, as featured in its April 2014 issue.
In addition to her skills in plastic surgery, Dr. Walden is also an established author, having published numerous articles and presented multiple award-winning research papers at national meetings. Dr. Walden has presented at national conferences teaching other plastic surgeons on laser techniques with facelifting, HALO Hybrid Laser, breast implant and fat grafting surgery, SmartGraft hair restoration, ThermiVa and DiVa noninvasive vaginal rejuvenation, and social media in the beauty industry to name a few topics.
She enjoys teaching and has been selected as an American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Traveling Professor on numerous occasions.
A native Texan, Dr. Walden was born and raised in Austin and grew up in Northwest Hills. She graduated from Anderson High School where she was an all-state soccer player and then received her undergraduate education at the University of Texas at Austin, graduating with Honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology. She then went on to receive her Medical Doctorate with Highest Honors and graduating as the Salutatorian at the University of Texas Medical Branch as well as being elected president of the Texas Alpha Chapter of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. During this time she did an externship at the prestigious Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami with renowned pioneers and teachers of facelift surgery and anatomy, Drs. Tom Baker and James Stuzin. Several of her past awards include the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Award for the Best Scientific Exhibit by a Candidate (Vancouver, BC, 2004), The Janet M. Glasgow Memorial Award and Achievement Citation given by the American Medical Women’s Association (1998), and The Mavis P. Kelsey Excellence in Medicine Award and Scholarship given by the Kelsey-Seybold Foundation of Houston (1998).
After completing her residency training, she moved from Texas to New York to pursue her special interest in aesthetic surgery after being selected for the highly competitive world-renowned fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital (MEETH). During her fellowship, she benefited from the knowledge and expertise of many internationally known leaders in the field of aesthetic plastic surgery, and acquired cutting edge techniques for cosmetic surgery of the face, nose, breast, and body. Dr. Walden integrated this innovative technology and clinical knowledge into her successful practice of plastic surgery in Manhattan. Dr. Walden served as the Program Director of the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship until her relocation back to Austin. The Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship was the first organized cosmetic surgery training program in the United States, and remains one of the foremost, highly regarded “hands-on” clinical training programs of tomorrow’s cosmetic plastic surgeons.
After her fellowship, Dr. Walden became the associate of world-famous aesthetic plastic surgeon, Dr. Sherrell J. Aston, and remained so during the entirety of the time she resided and practiced in New York for the past eight years. Dr. Aston is considered internationally to be one of the most authoritative voices in aesthetic surgery education as well as a very technically talented “cosmetic surgeon to the stars.” It was during this time that Dr. Walden honed her skills and learned new techniques, as well as how to run a first class cosmetic surgery practice with professionalism and discretion. In 2007 Aston and his team, including Dr. Walden, were photographed by world-renowned photographer Mark Seliger for the April 2007 cover feature of L’Uomo Vogue (Italian Vogue) entitled Dr. Aston: Aesthetic Magician of the Stars. At Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Dr. Walden also trained and worked with other internationally-renowned figures in aesthetic plastic surgery including Dr. Daniel Baker, Dr. Gerald Pitman, Dr. Nicholas Tabbal, and Dr. Alan Matarasso.
Gina founded Skintology in 2004. She completed her chemistry degree in Russia and came to the Big Apple in 1980. She began her career as a chemist and worked in product development for a New York dermatologist, Dr. Zizmor. Years later, she joined the team of plastic surgeon, Dr. Williams; plastic surgeon, Dr. Fischer; and dermatologist, Dr. Brauner. In early 2006, her focus became developing her own chemical-free product line. That year, she also developed a signature treatment for an embryo-assisted, DNA-replacement procedure.
After twenty-four years of experience, she believes one solution for every patient does not exist. Gina is the leader in the skincare industry and she believes that product is not powerful without treatment. Gina continues to research and develop, and with the help of Dr. Jennifer Walden, is able to have customized and specialized procedures for every patient.

Isis Harris, RN, BSN, is an expert in aesthetic non-surgical treatments that restore and enhance natural beauty. She takes an artistic approach by designing personally customized treatments to suit the needs of each patient.
Isis provides aesthetic consultations, treatment and non-surgical injectables such as neuromodulators (Botox and Dysport) and dermal fillers. Since 2004, Isis has worked in Aesthetics. She has over 14 years of experience with many modalities of Laser and Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), CO2 Laser Resurfacing, Advanced Skin Care, and Spider vein treatments, and continues to develop her practice as an Aesthetic Nurse.
Additionally, Isis has OR experience assisting in and observing various cosmetic procedures, deepening her knowledge and understanding of the anatomical structures of the face.
Helayne Hershan, RN, is an expert injector who has been part of the aesthetic industry for over 20 years.
She first worked as a surgical assistant for a plastic surgeon in New York City. Helayne began performing skin care and injectables under the supervision of many well-known plastic surgeons and has now become an independent practitioner with an impeccable reputation.
Helayne’s specialties include non-surgical injectables such as BOTOX® and dermal fillers, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and Microneedling with PRP.
Lola is a licensed medical aesthetician in New York and New Jersey with over ten years’ experience in non-invasive facial rejuvenation and body sculpting procedures.
As a medical aesthetician, Lola has a wide range of experience coupled with modern aesthetic technology, including: non-invasive laser facial rejuvenation; CO2 laser resurfacing; microneedling combined with RF energy; Ultherapy®—a non-invasive, collagen-inducing and lifting procedure; body sculpting; and fat reduction utilizing the most effective non-surgical technology like Coolsculpting® and SculpSure™. Lola is continuing to pursue her interest and education in medical aesthetics to share her knowledge with patients to help them to achieve their goals.
In her approach with each patient, Lola is gentle, yet efficient. Her priorities combine setting realistic goals, quality treatments that help patients to accomplish the best possible outcomes and ensuring patient safety.
Yana was born and raised in Minsk, Belarus. Yana received a cosmetology license in 1992 and has received specialty training in medical aesthetics. Yana started working as a medical aesthetician at the Dermatology Center and Medical Spa in Birmingham, Alabama. Yana moved to New York City in 1998 and worked at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa and Greenhouse Spa. For the last 11 years, Yana has worked as a medical aesthetician and laser technician at The MedSpa Manhattan. In 2004, Yana became a certified laser hair removal technician with the American Laser Center. Yana is highly skilled and has knowledge of a wide variety of non-invasive procedures.
Yana is certified with Aurora DSR, Cutera, Lumines, Candela, and Polylase to perform hair epilation and skin rejuvenation. In 2016, Yana participated in a comprehensive hands-on program using the Cynosure SculpSure laser system and later completed the Transfer to Transformation assessment training using Allergan CoolSculpting. Yana is also certified in Ultherapy to help tighten and lift the face without surgery.
Yana is committed to creating a unique experience and a completely customized aesthetic plan for every patient and is overjoyed to be a part of Dr. Walden’s team.
Cavi is our client relations coordinator at The MedSpa Manhattan.
After graduating from her three-year degree in business administration and modern languages from Maynooth University, she planned her move to the United States and hasn’t looked back since!
Cavi is a talented and assertive young lady with previous experience working with international airline, Aer Lingus. Her skills have enabled her to specialize in business acquisitions on an internal level and be responsible for the transfer of data of sensitive nature.
Cavi has also spent time in front of the camera working on international advertisement campaigns throughout her reign as Miss Maynooth University 2014.
While attending MU, she was a committee member of the Irish Society, and won Best Irish Society of the Year in 2015.
She creates a positive experience for clients and has an integral role at the MedSpa handling online communications, social media, and researching innovative procedures and skincare to benefit our clients in the ever-changing skincare industry.
In her free time, Cavi enjoys eating out at one of the unlimited choices of NYC restaurants, traveling, and catching up on Botched!
Diana is a receptionist at The Medspa Manhattan. She works to constantly build relationships with clients and educates them about the treatments and procedures. She currently attends Brooklyn College, studying accounting and business management. Her previous experience with an internal medicine medical office enables her to provide exceptional patient and client customer service. She is consistently broadening her study and knowledge about the medical aesthetic world and is excited about the future for the business.
Alena is a front desk and patient coordinator at The MedSpa Manhattan specializing in patient relations and planning procedures. Alena is devoted in assisting patients with scheduling treatments. Being a great team player, Alena has a passion for helping people. She is planning on continuing her education at Rutgers University, studying dental hygiene. In her free time, Alena loves to maintain an active lifestyle and enjoys taking tango and karate lessons.
